Safety & Legal
Terms of Use
These terms govern access to and use of LittleInks, including family accounts, creative tools and Premium features.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of LittleInks. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
LittleInks is intended primarily for families in the United Kingdom. References to “LittleInks”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator of the LittleInks service.
For questions about these terms, use the LittleInks Support section.
2. Adult-managed accounts
A LittleInks account must be created and managed by a parent, guardian, or other adult family member who is at least 18 years old.
Children do not create independent LittleInks accounts. Child profiles sit inside the adult account and do not have their own email address, password or public username.
The adult account holder is responsible for:
- keeping the account secure;
- supervising use of the service by children in their household;
- deciding which child profiles are created;
- checking any image before it is uploaded; and
- ensuring that anything uploaded may lawfully be used.
3. The LittleInks service
LittleInks provides online colouring, drawing and related family creative tools.
The service may include:
- free colouring pages;
- Premium colouring pages and creative tools;
- private saved pictures;
- child nickname profiles managed by the adult account holder;
- private personal drawings or uploaded artwork; and
- downloads of completed artwork.
LittleInks is not a social network. We do not provide public child profiles, public galleries, comments, direct messages, followers or friend requests.
4. Free and Premium access
Some parts of LittleInks are available free of charge. Other features may require a Premium subscription.
The Premium page shows the features currently included before a purchase is made. We may change the catalogue or features from time to time, but we will not deliberately remove access to a paid period already purchased without good reason.
Where Premium is offered as a recurring subscription, the price, billing period and renewal basis will be shown before checkout. The separate Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Terms also apply.
If Premium ends, existing family artwork and profiles are not automatically deleted. Features that require Premium may become unavailable for new use.
5. Account security
You must provide accurate account information and take reasonable care to protect your password.
You must not:
- share a password publicly;
- try to access another person’s account;
- bypass access controls;
- interfere with the security or operation of LittleInks; or
- use automated methods to scrape, overload or disrupt the service.
If you believe an account has been accessed without permission, change the password and contact Support.
6. Family artwork and uploads
You keep ownership of original artwork created or uploaded by your family.
You give LittleInks permission to process, store and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide the service to your account. This permission does not give LittleInks ownership of the artwork.
Private family uploads are not automatically added to the public catalogue and are not used for advertising or to train AI or machine-learning models.
You must not upload content that:
- you do not own or have permission to use;
- unlawfully identifies or exposes another person;
- contains malware or malicious code;
- is sexual, exploitative, abusive or unlawful; or
- infringes another person’s copyright or other rights.
The Upload & Acceptable Use Rules contain further details.
7. LittleInks content and intellectual property
The LittleInks website, branding, software and public colouring catalogue are protected by intellectual property laws where applicable.
You may use public colouring pages for normal personal and family use through LittleInks. You may not scrape, copy, republish, resell or redistribute the catalogue as a competing collection or service without permission.
8. Suspension or removal
We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to:
- protect a child or another user;
- protect the security or availability of the service;
- investigate suspected unlawful use;
- comply with a legal obligation; or
- respond to a serious or repeated breach of these terms.
Where appropriate, we will try to explain the reason and provide a way to contact Support.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep LittleInks available and reliable, but internet services sometimes fail or require maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Features, artwork and technical requirements may change over time. Families should keep their own copies of artwork that is especially important to them.
10. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.
LittleInks is intended for personal and family use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from use of the service.
11. Ending an account
The adult account holder may delete the account through the account settings where that option is available.
Account deletion removes the live account, child profiles, saved colouring and private family files associated with it, subject to limited retention in backups or where information must be kept for legal reasons.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under the law that applies where you live.
