Accessibility Statement
LittleInks aims to make its website and core account features usable by as many children and grown-ups as reasonably possible.
1. Our approach
LittleInks aims to make its website and core account features usable by as many people as reasonably possible.
We use WCAG 2.2 AA as a reference point for the design and development of standard website pages, forms, navigation and account controls.
The creative colouring canvas is highly visual and touch-oriented, so some colouring and drawing functions may not currently have a fully equivalent experience for every access need.
2. Features intended to support accessibility
LittleInks includes or aims to maintain:
- semantic page headings;
- labelled form controls;
- visible keyboard focus;
- a skip link to main content;
- responsive layouts for zoom and smaller screens;
- text alternatives for meaningful non-decorative images;
- sufficient colour contrast for standard interface controls;
- touch targets designed for phones and tablets; and
- reduced reliance on colour alone to communicate important information.
3. Known limitations
Some parts of the colouring experience may be difficult to use without a pointer, touchscreen or similar input method.
In particular:
- freehand drawing and tap-to-fill are primarily visual interactions;
- complex artwork may be difficult to describe meaningfully to a screen reader; and
- some creative gestures, including zooming and panning, may not yet have a complete keyboard equivalent.
We will continue to improve these areas where practical.
4. Reporting an accessibility problem
If you cannot use part of LittleInks, please tell us through LittleInks Support.
It helps if you include the page or feature, the device or browser you were using and what you were trying to do.
Please do not include sensitive information that is not needed to explain the problem.
